6 Small Business I Love

6 Small Business I Love

Introducing some of my favourite Small Businesses. I've worked with these businesses, have purchased from them or used their services and they all come with a 5 star review

Nine Arrow

Catherine’s stunning illustration style captured my heart a few years ago. I love her style and approach to art but could never decide which print I wanted. The beautiful Cló Gaelach print caught my eye last year and I was so excited to receive it. It is waiting patiently to be framed and hang on the wall on the way up my stairs once the renovation work is finished. Catherine has a whole range of beautiful products on her website from home decor to jumpers. Her range of pins is particularly gorgeous! I highly recommend checking out the website.

Infinite Nails & Beauty

Excluding lockdowns I’ve been getting my nails done roughly every 3 weeks by Megan since back in 2018. I am constantly blown away by her talent, her creativity and her meticulous attention to detail. Not only that, she is one of the nicest, genuine, down to earth people you will ever meet with an absolute heart of gold. She also doesn’t bat an eyelid when I arrive with random inspo pics (I’ve had pictures of tops and even wallpaper). She’s a fierce supporter of small business with all of the wall art in her gorgeous studio space coming from small businesses. One of my favourite small businesses.

Girseach

Monaghan born and Donegal based Eilíse is fortunate to live in my favourite part of the world with her lovely family. Her work is inspired by her beautiful surroundings and she has just launched a range of really beautiful prints. Eilíse shares videos of her printing process which I could watch for hours. She hand prints all of her gorgeous cards and prints and I particularly love her spideog beag and Errigal Christmas cards. The new range of Errigal lino prints are really lovely and are available in a range of colours showing Errigal in different lights. Not only does she have a wonderful talent but Eilíse really is a lovely person.

Belfast Coffee Roasters

I first came across Belfast Coffee Roasters when I received a bag of coffee as part of a secret santa Christmas gift from my brother in 2019. It was the foundary blend and it was delicious. We ordered more during lockdown and the foundry blend along with the Honduras blend became firm favourites. I love everything about this small, but rapidly growing, business. The packaging, customer service and products are all fab and keep us coming back for more.

Oh My Grá

Sinéad popped on the scene last year and has created some of the most beautifully curated gift boxes out there. She has an eye for style and brings together gorgeous products from a range of businesses to create gift boxes for every occasion imaginable. Not only does Sinéad do amazing work but she also donates profits from the sale of her boxes to deserving local groups and charities. Just last month Sinéad committed to pay a monthly fee to enable two women/ girls to complete a mental health programme for a full year. How amazing is that!

Itty Bitty Book Co

I adore everything about Itty Bitty Book Co. Astra & Al started off at St George’s Market and have built an extremely successful business over the past few years. They both have a wonderful attitude and have a refreshingly honest approach to what they share about family life with their two beautiful children. Itty Bitty Book Co’s products are stocked in shops all over the country and it’s no wonder - they’re gorgeous. The products ooze positivity and happiness; from t-shirts to home décor. You’re bound to find a Christmas gift or two on the website.
